Susan Connor-Herrera, LMSW, CAADC, CCS, is the Chief Clinical Officer at Addiction Treatment Services. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and her Master of Social Work degree from University of Chicago.

Susan has been working in the behavioral health field since 2008, advocating for mental wellness, recovery, and equitable access to services for individuals and families across diverse populations. She began her career at ATS as a therapist at Dakoske Hall, later advancing to Clinical Director and now serving in her current leadership role as Chief Clinical Officer.

Susan is passionate about delivering compassionate, evidence-based care while supporting both clients and clinical teams in achieving meaningful, lasting change. Outside of her professional work, she is a proud mother of two and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family in the beauty of Northern Michigan.
