We will provide counseling, case management, and medical oversight to help ensure a safe detox process. We service a variety of client needs at our residential and outpatient programs where we can address both substance use disorders (for all substances) and mental health symptoms. Our services include trauma informed, co-occurring care at any level of need.

We’re proud to be one of Michigan’s most innovative and well-respected treatment centers. We are trauma-informed at all levels and work hard to implement a curriculum that’s evidence-based and peer-reviewed. Our inpatient and outpatient services encourage a wellness-based approach that treats the whole person, so treatment is personalized to the physical and mental needs of each individual. By using these best-practice strategies, we’re able to stay on the cutting edge of addiction treatment.

Yes. There are many reasons why several of our clients choose to pay for services out of pocket. Sometimes they don’t want to engage their employers or insurance providers. Sometimes we’re unable to accept their insurance but they still want to come. Sometimes they don’t have insurance. Whatever the case, we do accept cash, check, or credit card for treatment and services. Please call us at 800.622.4810 to explore your options.

We currently accept Priority Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, and Medicaid, which includes the Healthy Michigan Plan (see below). We’re actively working on adding other insurance options. Please contact us to inquire about your specific plan, and we may be able to work with you.

When you are admitted to ATS, please bring the following:
If you take any medication(s), a thirty (30) day supply is required. (For detox clients, seven (7) days is required.) Medications must be in their original container and not a weekly planner. If you do not have a thirty (30) day supply, a script, or refill indicated on the bottle, we CANNOT admit you.
If you are prescribed a narcotic, you must have a letter from your doctor acknowledging that they are aware you’re in a treatment program. You may sign a release upon arrival, however a call will be made to your doctor.
Seven (7) days worth of clothing. Short-term residential admits will be doing laundry once a week, and do not need to bring laundry soap unless you have allergies to particular soaps/scents. We ask that you do not bring more than a week’s worth of clothing since we have limited space in the rooms. All items should fit into one (1) bag.
You may bring tank tops. No revealing clothing. No clothing with obscenities or clothing advertising alcohol and/or drugs. Please bring seasonally appropriate clothing: i.e. winter coat for colder months or bathing suit in the summer. Bring comfortable shoes and shower shoes, if desired.

Cigarettes, chew, and tobacco products are allowed with some restrictions. We recommend bringing a little more than you smoke daily.
Short-term residential clients can bring a reasonable amount of spending money, if desired (cigarettes, pop machine, stamps, etc.) No need for detox clients, as they will not be leaving the facility.
If you have income, proof of income is required in the form of: paycheck stub, tax form(s), bank statement, or other forms that show income.
Identification is required, if available.
Radios, CD players, MP3 players with headphones are allowed with clinical permission, exclusively in bedrooms.
